The last two days I have been having trouble connecting to the site. I get a can't find dns. Now this is a new computer so I might have some settings wrong but this is the only site I have trouble with. Is anyone else having trouble or do I need to check out my system??

I haven't had any problems, even from home on my slow dial-up connection.

networks isolate from each other. a good representative of this phenomenon you can see on IRC (internet relay chat) where it is called a "netsplit", where suddenly a chatroom's population is halved. with both sides of the conversation on one side of the split or the other. sometimes you cant get here from there. and probably there is a connection issue between your provider and whatever part of the net this site is on. your post got here. so obviously it seems to have repaired? I used to notice this far more in the early days of the internet when they were upgrading major backbones of the net. for a day or two. your provider might not be at the highest level of service.

sorry if i wasnt able to describe this to any more efficiency for you. and hopefully you got the message ok. . not my intention to be cryptic.

Some sites and networks have seemed slow over the past few days, but I have some suspicion that the latest worms and viruses have contributed to some of these slowdowns also. :evil:

is causing slowdowns and choking servers all over the net...
I'd give it until at least tomorrow night, then let us know if you are still having issues and we can collectively dig into it :wink:
