I usually stay away from this subject because I am not the best when it comes to waxing or even detailing after washing, or knowing anything about what the best of waxes are, but a few weeks ago I was at the local Hot Rod Show out in the Fairplex at Pomona and a vendor had a product called House of Color Kosmic Shine. It is supposed to be non-abraisive, UV protectant and easy on-easy off. I bought a 16 oz bottle for $20 and tried it. Yep.....EZ on, EZ off, shined quite nicely. I'm happy. Anybody heard of it?

I would be worried about anything that spelled Cosmic with a K!

I just checked their web site and evidently they have a corporate ban on the use "C" in product names.

You guys should check out Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. I just tried it and it's amazing! It's easy on easy off and dries clear. It also helps with swirl marks!

I also received a tip to try their Trim Detailer on the plastic paneling and it was incredible. Since the panels aren't that dark, it's hard to see a huge difference but you can tell that it completely conditioned the plastic and gave it a richer look.

yep the protection package is just a selant it lasts a little bit longer than wax but not as long as they claim. There is no 5 year wax no matter what anyone says. I work as a detailer/undercoater for a dealership and have been doing this kind of work for 15 years so I know what I am talking about. How long will it take you to wax your E 15 minites? do it once a month and it will look new for years.

House of Kolor makes the best custom automotive paints and equipment period. Most of your high end custom cars are painted with it, and I am sure thier detail supplys would have the same quality. I am going to have to check that stuff out for my own car
