Any tips on getting gum off my panels. Listen to this I park about 3 miles away from any store/park/bar whatever and walk the distance to get to the front door ( with a lot of complaint from the passengers). And normally since I park this far away, no one ever parks beside me. So some little #()@#($&#@$) stops an puts some freaking bubble yum on my panel. NOW how do I get it of with out scratching the heck out of my panels? should I use penut butter and hope that the chemist adage of likes dissolves likes works or what
:x :x :x :evil: :evil: :evil:

Peanut butter worked when I got gum in my hair when I was a child so it should work with the panels.

i agree with the pb. you might also want to try ice or something that can make the gum real hard, then pop it off. they both worked when i gum all over my face and hands.
sorry to hear about your bad luck :(

<Caution>
I had the same problem gum all over the composite panel. I must have run over someone's gum. I have always used a product called "Goof Off" in the past to get gum paint stickers etc. off of everything.
Unfortunately in my haste I failed to test it on an inconspicuous location. It discolored the plastic. I assume permanently. :oops:
Anybody have an Idea how to correct this error?

I'd wash it with Dawn or some other soap and just leave it alone. I bet it's temporary. Sorry you have a blemish for now though. If it doesn't go away, then try 303 or vinylex.
