Define "mod" it.
Splash screen hack? Special functions etc etc

1) i feel it has a hidden ability to play actual dvd's...
2) get rid of that stupid 'Ok' screen at startup

As for my contribution, and i hope this finds all of you with 09 oem navi systems, you can go to cdcopyworld or one of the mirror sites and download the update for your system without paying 500 bucks to honda. They were working on it last time I checked so we might have to wait a bit for the file to be available, but it'll be there.

1. It can be done however ur unit needs to be opened up and worked on, voiding the warranty. There was a shop in ny doing them Not sure if they still do
2. There is a splash edit, but the only car i have seen the ok bypass was foe the tl. But the hacker tagged his code and if u altered it u risked crash/ reboot reinstall.

As for the software hosting, its illegal and if u search people trying to provide scanned or pdf copies of helms or service manuals it is something u should ask a mod about before directing people to.

There are no hacks for the turquoise DVD ROM disc. The OEM Navi will not play DVDs either. The only DVD ROM drive in the OEM player is for the map disc. When you remove the map DVD, the system is pretty much useless. $500? What are talking about? Map upgrades are $185. Also, promoting illegal software is a big no-no.
