Well, I've put a little over 2000 miles on my new 2010 Element 4WD and everything I liked about my 2006 is there. There are a few annoying changes, but a few pleasant additions as well. I really love this car, and plan to put at least 60,000 miles on it like the last one.

I like the painted panels a lot over the old plastic ones. I like the look of this one a lot better overall.

I like the overhead bins, I actually find them more useful than the old one, though I was worried at first that I wouldn't like them as much.

I like the removable cooler.

I also don't miss the moon roof. In fact, the only time I remembered it was there in my old one was when a passenger would sit in the back and say "cool moon roof".

I'm getting about the same gas mileage, around 19/21 City/Hwy... I wish I would get more.

I don't like the tires that came on it, but I didn't like the ones on the 2006 either. I will probably put some new LTX Michelin tires on at some point in the not too distant future.

I'm glad I made the purchase... I was a little worried after reading the "hate" filled thread, but I can now say I love it just as much as my old one, if not more.

I too bought a 2010 Element in July after having a 2005. I love the new one. My wife liked my old EX so much she is now driving it. ( She had a relatively new Civic, but gave it to our son in college.)

I'm sorry to say after the safety recall on the brakes and all the issues I was having with the dealership with my 2007 E I had a lapse of judgement and traded it in for a 2010 subaru impreza...yeah that lasted a total of 4 months with me. It just wasn't for me at all so 2 days ago I traded that in for a 2010 E and I couldn't be happier. I was prepared for the depreciation of my very slightly used subaru but it was totally worth it!!! Now I just have to update my pic and get the I heart my toaster sticker back on!:razz:

I hate the visors there just to Xtra big for me! I pull them down & im having to move my head around just to see when the light is going to turn green!...............Other then that not a thing Id change about my just purchased element too no regrets in this buy :)........... O & the black panels I dont like them either going to paint those soon too!

So far, I love everything about mine as well. I was previously driving a VW Jetta (which was an awesome car I thought). This E is an unbelievable car though. So far, there are only a few things I'd change/add to it that the Jetta had and it's really not that big of deal to even mention. I don't think I've seen an E with a sunroof up close before, that would have been a pretty interesting feature to have. I hardly ever used mine on the last car though so I'd imagine it would be the same sort of thing.

I love the big windows and big visors (maybe it balances me out because i have a big head according to my wife). I love the space in it too, i've only had one back seat passenger, but the first thing they said was that they had a ton of room. I also love the fact that I sit a little higher in it. In my VW, i felt like I was on the ground almost, always looking up to the cars on the side of me. With the E, I'm a little higher so that works. I heard someone complaining about the seat belts in another thread but truthfully, I like the seat belts on the seat. On a longer drive, the passenger can recline and still be strapped in pretty tight. That's an awesome feature. There are so many things i like, i don't wanna ramble but it's awesome.

I'm really happy with my 2010. I've had it for 11 months now. After over 14000 miles, I can honestly say that I am thrilled with the car and have no regrets.

I feel your pain...I bought a Light in Sight and it is a great..it allows the driver to see the signal lights without having to move your head to see the ones that are higher up. Its kinda pricey but I think its worth every penny. Here is the link
