There is a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap where the drivers side door handle (armrest) is supposed to meet the door towards the rear, I can see what looks to be black colored black clips behind it. It is flush on the passengers side. I had the piece replaced a week ago because it came with a nice indention in it. I'm wondering, are all driver side handles like this? Did they install it wrong? I could go back and look at a new one, but the dealer is 75miles away.
Anyone else notice this?

Sorry to tell you, but it sounds like your dealer did not put it on right.

My driver's side door handle does not have any gap between it and the door. Your dealer should have done a better job with installation.
