: Nobody notices my new Element
Nikki 03-16-2003, 11:24 AM I was so stoked when I bought one of these. I thought heads would turn. I was so proud of it. It turns out that everyone just stares at me and comments on how hot I am. I was looking forward to this sleek looking vehicle to take some of the heat off me. You have no idea how it is to be so good looking. Its a real burden sometimes.
Oh well, should have bought a sports car.
cjans7784 03-16-2003, 11:32 AM Please tell me you are just kidding...
Nikki 03-16-2003, 12:57 PM Please don't snicker till you have driven a mile in my shoes.
Simon 03-16-2003, 01:10 PM Nikki,
I would say that it says more about you than it does your Element.
Nothing is forever, there'll come a time when men tell you they'd like to kick the tires and look under the hood - and they will really only want to checkout your Goodyears and intake valves.
Take pictures - Time is a cruel accountant.
Alien Element 03-16-2003, 02:41 PM Hey, post up a picture of you and your Element and we can set up a poll on which is hotter...
PhillyElement 03-16-2003, 03:04 PM I don't know, but I'm seeing a new reality show in the works.....Who's Hotter, Me or My Car!!
I'm taking the car, the warranty is better
Simon 03-16-2003, 03:11 PM [quote:f4a5d0616a="Nikki"] It turns out that everyone just stares at me and comments on how hot I am. [/quote:f4a5d0616a]
That's the same reason I can't grab a 12 pack and get home in 10 minutes.
Well, look at it this way, when lady Godiva was a riding on her horse, did many people look at the horse?
dstranathan 03-16-2003, 06:39 PM I share your pain. I'm hot too. It's hard.
ibutchman 03-16-2003, 06:57 PM I was at the gas station today and somebody stopped me and thought my car was so COOL, HIP and Different!
Now I'm beginning to wonder. Maybe I don't have the "Nikki Syndrome." :?
Aykew 03-16-2003, 07:55 PM Yup, more comments on my car than on my body! I think it'd be a nice problem to have.
Nikki,
Have you considered clothing as a contraceptive? You can do a lot with colors and the cut of the material.
Here is an idea: If you are hot with a name like Nikki, you are probably not an Autum. [ In the eye/complexion clothes matching color spectrum of Winter, Spring, Summer and Autum.]
Find a light windbreaker in a color that you have hated since you were 12, and were learning to make choices with a desire to be hot.
Put on the windbreaker and look in the mirror. It is most important that the clohting clash with you. If it clashes with whatever else you are wearing that is ok.
See how long you can look at your eyes and face beside the cloth, with me it can hurt, with you it won't be so difficult, but you should find something that makes you want to divert your attention. BUY THAT!
Not quite a burka but the same idea with a little less mystery.
You should find you get a lot more done and meet fewer people looking for trophies.
Hope all goes well with this and you have a wonderful life! But it will be difficult, everyone has a different road.
Ed
angiebanana 03-16-2003, 08:46 PM dstranathan....*LMAO*!!!!!!!!!
I noticed mostly men replied to Niks message. So, here I am, a bold woman to break that cycle.
Ahem...and yeah, how painful it must be to be a beaut. I truly feel for you.
....that's all I have to say about that.
Angie :D
Simon 03-16-2003, 10:29 PM Here are some Options Nikki:
Get the Roseanne Kentucky Fried Training video (series)
Ask the Plastic Surgeon if they can be removed.
Throw out the Spandex and shop www.woolrich.com
Get some of them Gel Padded Bike Seat Covers for the old-fashioned Big Bike Seats and drop them down the back of your pants.
Wear a Micheal Jackson mask.
Wear a T-shirt that says MY HUSBAND IS IN THE MOB
Daveroo 03-17-2003, 05:27 AM "Nobody notices my new Element"
Probably because they cannot see around your head.... :?
-Dave
Nikki 03-17-2003, 12:23 PM I have truly tried to ugly myself up, but it just does not work. I have done the ugly clothes trick, but still get tons of guys hitting on me. My beauty always shows through. I remember one halloween when I had a costume on, and nobody could see my face or most of my body, as soon as I opened my mouth they were captivated with my personality.
Whenever I walk into a room, all eyes are on me always. I am really sick of it.
But hey, lets not make this forum about me. See, its even happening here....ARGH!

SPACE E 03-17-2003, 02:05 PM trying herself! Laura - is that you?
isketerol 03-17-2003, 02:23 PM Well, hate to say it, no matter how good looking Nikki is I will only notice him if his Element has rainbow license plates. <mailcious grin>

PhillyElement 03-17-2003, 02:30 PM Something has gone disastrously awry with this young person. What could push someone to be so misconstrued about what people think? Poor girl, she is probably ignored by her parents and an outcast in social activities. Imagine what it would be like to know someone with this type of vanity, no matter what she looks like (and I am guessing its not half of what she claims!) So here's what I think:
Scenario 1:
Nikki=Nicky
He is a dejected, pimple faced kid who has no friends and only dream in life is to meet someone who is either tolerant or blind enough to put up with his utter ugliness. He thinks it is funny to pose as a woman, a hot woman at that, because to him, this is what would make him happiest. He is saving all of his money from his job at Kentucky Fried Chicken to have a sex change operation, which will transform him into 'Nikki", and probably go on to lead a life of selling his/her/its body for cash to pay off the Element they bought that mimics the type of transformation externally that they want desperately to make of their own body.
Scenario 2:
Nikki has had so much plastic surgery, that, not unlike Pamela Anderson, people who see her and her car are mistaking her FOR the car because her body has more plastic in it than the Element. In this case, Nikki is in grave danger of melting in the summer and sticking to the seats of her Element, but at least she will be able to get a good nights sleep considering the capabilities of the seating arrangements!
Think of how BEAUTIFUL those seat covers will be......
Scenario 3:
Nikki is a lunatic with cheap internet access and nothing better to do....
Hey, lets take a vote!!!!
boneheadz 03-17-2003, 02:58 PM Or Nikki aka hansblix :?:
Hawaiian E 03-17-2003, 03:47 PM [quote:c05971663f="isketerol"]Well, hate to say it, no matter how good looking Nikki is I will only notice him if his Element has rainbow license plates. <mailcious grin>
Iskie[/quote:c05971663f]
Hey what are you saying? My license plates have rainbows on it...all the Hawaii license plates have them on it........oh wait, you want those "special" rainbows...
I can sympathize with Nikki...I too am one of those fortunate beautiful people that others just want to look at constantly. I mean can't people just turn away for a second? What was I thinking, that a beautiful car could mask my beautiful self? Nikki, I think you and I should post pics of ourselves just so you can see everyone can see how beautiful we are, and not judge us by the cars we drive. [/sarcasm]
Aykew 03-17-2003, 04:20 PM PhillyElement, I'll have to admit that scenarios 1 and 3 did occur to me. Didn't want to be the first to say it though! :)
Simon 03-17-2003, 04:27 PM Nikki,
I want to introduce you to a man. His name is Jerry Springer.
Hawaiian E 03-17-2003, 05:11 PM [quote:65a12c3a18="Simon"]Nikki,
I want to introduce you to a man. His name is Jerry Springer.[/quote:65a12c3a18]
Wow, you could've introduced her to me, i mean if she can take attention away from an E, one word...damn...
lalabela 03-17-2003, 06:21 PM Mine E gets plenty of attention. The car must have the opposite affect on ugly people.......
Nikki 03-17-2003, 06:33 PM Please...everyone...put an end to this thread!
P.S. Don't hate me coz I'm beautiful.
Alien Element 03-17-2003, 07:00 PM Well, you started it and it was WAAAY too good to just let go! But you and Hawaiian E should do the picture thing and we can have our first EOC beauty pagent...
Hawaiian E 03-17-2003, 07:20 PM Here is my picture:

ibutchman 03-17-2003, 08:18 PM This Nikki sounds suspicious.
Nikki is probably some guy, pretending to be a girl, playing a trick on us. :P
Will the real Nikki, please post a picture with her Element.
angiebanana 03-17-2003, 08:23 PM Ahem....your nudie did'nt post. *lol*
Hawaiian E 03-17-2003, 08:27 PM damn...whats up with that? I guess you folks don't get to see how beautiful my picture is.
..
isketerol 03-17-2003, 09:37 PM Oh darn. I was hoping to see your rainbow license plate. <chortle>
iskie
spacemen3 03-18-2003, 12:06 AM you are a mess
artdude102 03-18-2003, 11:49 AM I have to agree with isketerol!
LOL
:P
isketerol 03-18-2003, 12:08 PM :D
Hawaiian E 03-18-2003, 12:09 PM
Thanks for the fun nikki...
tigernumber6 03-18-2003, 12:13 PM Nikki, do you have a website and, if so, how much does it cost to get in? I for one want to check you out for myself. I've got a room in my basement for just this type of surfing.
Nikki 03-18-2003, 04:41 PM Ok, you asked for it. I warn you. You will not be able to stop thinking of me.[img][/www.tripod.com/nikkiE]
pemfluke 03-20-2003, 08:09 AM
i am having the same problem as nikki..being 72 years old im still quite the looker.. i even tried to get some of the attention off me by placing my dentures on the dash as an ornament..but it didnt work..maybe a Nikki Bobblehead Doll will do the trick
maxine
Must have something to do with the name nikki. I knew a girl in Phila just like the nikki posting here. Strange girl, never could figure out that it wasn't her looks.
Tipper 03-31-2003, 12:04 AM Hey Nikki, Tried to view the pic of your E, but no such site
pookSter 04-21-2003, 11:34 AM Nikki, do you own a Black EX and where were you at a service center on Saturday?
hunterbase 04-21-2003, 10:40 PM if the salesman had tried as hard to sell me the Element as Nikki is trying to sell herself, I would have walked away.
This has been an entertaining topic though. thanks.
Nikki maybe you could put a photo on amihot.com
Nikki 04-22-2003, 05:30 AM OMG Pookster, was that you in the silver element who honked and waved at me while I was locking my car at the service center?
Nikki the Beautiful
pookSter 04-22-2003, 01:07 PM Yes, that was me. I was going to stop and talk to you Nikki, but you disappeared into the food court somewhere. Oh, well, nice to almost meet you :D
Staggie 04-22-2003, 04:40 PM But the rainbow license plates will CLASH with my galapagos green paint...what's a boy to do? Perhaps I can find a fashionable muted rainbow sticker....or maybe no one in CA thought to get personalized plates that actually say "RAINBOW"...somebody already snagged "CLWNCAR".
pookSter 04-22-2003, 08:00 PM HUH??
isketerol 04-22-2003, 08:14 PM I think the rainbow license plate holder is a bit much - unless you're cruising. A muted rainbow sticker in the right place would be nice. Now you've got me wondering if QAF or variations on that acronym are taken.....like QAFWTCHER....
