simlesby 02-18-2004, 03:05 PM had to replace windshield...ever since getting strange and hugely annoying watery sound from front left side...no water entering cabin..REALLY strange. Windshield replace-o guys checked and checked again..windshield tight, they insist. Is it definitely at-speed and wind-force related? Other watery sound issues I can think of might be the water pump, or, if you're running the defroster alot (which turns the compressor on) a build up of condensation in the fan area perhaps due to a blocked drain hose. I had to have my windshield replaced, After they did it, I had a wind noise. I took it back about 5 times before it was fixed. It turned out that they replaced the plastic trim pieces at the base of the windshield, problem solved. I think it has to do with the plastic pins that hold them in place. I don't think they are designed to be taken on and off. djc 02-19-2004, 05:13 PM If I had to take a guess............ I'd say that the cowl area is not draining......... By cowl area I mean the area underneath the plastic trim, at the base of the windshield............. See it once in awhile with Dodge Caravans, not that THAT means a squat......Just my $0.02....I'll sit back down and shut my pie hole.......Let us know the FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||
