: Possible PA meet this summer civicway 02-18-2004, 05:33 PM Anyone interested in a possible summer Pa. meet? We are currently looking at possible meeting places such as Kennywood Park, Hershey Park or a tour of Gettysburg. There are a lot of nice long winding roads and places for photo opportunities in Gettysburg. The E's rolling down the Chambersburg pike would be a great picture. We are heading out on an East Coast Road Trip during that time frame and driving from St. Louis and heading through PA and stopping at Gettysburg because that is where I grew up and my husband hasn't been! Haven't been there since my dad took me for a historical road trip (he was a college history teacher). :) -brendan StLouisPenguin 02-22-2004, 07:52 PM My mom had wanted to be a History Teacher, but it was the 1960's and once she got married she dropped out of college to be a happy homemaker.....but history was still her passion, so when we bought a farm outside of Gettysburg she applied to a tour guide and loved it! Plus as a bonus when we renovated our farm house we found so pretty nifty artifacts!
