: No heat from floor vents?

Hi we are up to 2000 miles on our SOP Element. In the cold weather the heat works fine except we can't get heat out of the floor/foot vents. We can burn our faces off with the top vents but nothing but cold air comes out at our feet.

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks John

This has been covered extensivly, but to save you the search here is a summary. It seems the when the heater is set to floor, most of the heat goes to the back seat vents. (under the seats) Some have had success plugging those vents, directing more heat to the front. You can use tape or foam plugs.

Thanks, John

Search for "cold feet" :)

I've used two approaches.

1-Put the selector to the feet only position and crank the fan way up. You will get some on your feet and quite a bit on your face still.

2-Depending on the temperature and how much you breathe and how humid it is, you can put the selector on face only, recirculate, hi fan, and get the whole cabin toasty pretty quickly. Then switch to fresh air before you steam everything up.

Good Luck.
