Hey all....So, I'm new here, but have been a lurker for many years. Love the threads and the community. My wife has a 2008 EX w/37k on it and I'm moving back to the Northeast after living in SoCal for 11 years. As we all know, the stock tires are crap and I'll probably replace all 4 before I make the journey. I have 2 questions which I'd love your help with.

1. What is the story with replacing tires if your car is on a lease? Do they have to be OEM to turn in, or can they be other brand?

2. Assuming I can change the tires on a lease and not be stuck with the OEM ones, can you reccommend a good tire that does the following: good tread wear, good for all weather, esp. snow, handles well and has better/lower road noise than the OEM? Would you go with a bigger size, etc.
