I want to improve handling on my element. I don't want to lower from stock height but would like to stiffen roll. I am considering the ST sway for the rear.
Anyone ever tried the SC front sway on any other element? Looking at the parts diagrams they look to be the same shape and have similar part numbers (which makes sense because its solid rather than hollow.) the mounting points look the same as well.
Searching the forum told me the ST front sway didn't fit the SC so logically the SC sway wouldn't fit because of some difference, but has anyone physically tried and what is the difference? I am just looking for a definitive answer here.
I would like to use the SC front bar if possible because its about $200 cheaper than the ST front sway.

the SC has upgraded knuckles it stops the steering sooner. and i believe at least a hardware size difference solid might use larger hardware. for a non lowered element you might need longer end links. sway bars include the endlink kit if im not mistaken so that could be the direct fit issue.
SC rear sway should boltup with no issues
i would look into the ST front sway over the rear. rear for SC is 25mm same as ST. front stock is 30mm SC is a solid 30mm ST is 32mm

st rear is 25mm solid and SC rear is 25mm hollow though correct?
I prefer to correct some of the heavy under steer bias the element has by going with the ST in the rear.

SC FRONT solid stabilizer bolts up perfect to my 04 EX MT 4WD. Pics soon.
Rear on the other hand looks way different and I am not sure it will work. its a completely different shape and it looks like the bushing mount points are different.

Here are the photos.
front bars = only difference is weight, solid vs. hollow.

rear bars are a little more complicated...

Issues with bushing mount points for SC rear bar. The brackets fall right on the curved part, they need to be spaced outboard about an inch or two.
the current brackets are just in with 1 bolt threaded a few turns to hold the bar up for the photo.

worked on it again tonight.
came up with a simple solution for the rear bar to move the mounts out. Went to the HW store and got some angle iron and nuts/bolts.
problem solved:

front and rear solid SC sway bars on an 04 EX 4wd for less than the price of 1 of the ST sway bars.
