That is some publicity for Honda. Just hope they don't say no 2011 E.

They would actually have to admit the E can tow if they did

That was more advertisement of the E's capability than what Honda has done in the entire vehicle's lifespan.

We are so smart Spotman and all the other E-dropers. There is something about the boxy of the E that really goes well with teardrops!
Um...I watched the one video with socal hitching up the E and saw a couple of things:1) I believe when towing we should cross our chains (not twist as he said). This allows a cradle for the tongue to "fall" into and keep it up off the road until you get stopped. This means if you are like me and many other trailer towers, we have our chains meeting on a common bolt on the trailer tongue which doesn't allow you to cross the chains as they go toward the E hitch.
2) I was told by an old, old, old RV mechanic to NEVER use those screw type carrabeaner looking chain connectors. Supposedly they don't have the shear strength from a fast jolt and they break and bend easy.
Just fyi, and some 2 cents!
Hope all are well.
Spotman, when you coming camping with the chesapeake bay chapter of the tearjerkers. We are going this weekend on the eastern shore! Your always welcome to show off the tear:)

When I get out of this Police Academy sometime in Dec., I will get back on the trail, once I settle into this new job. Thanks for the thoughts, stay safe.
