: Male or female?
kato76 02-23-2004, 06:46 AM OK the only reason I am posting this is because I make fun of my friend for driving a Jetta. I tell him all the time all I see are women driving jetta's so it must be a womans car. Now he started on my about how many men vs women drive E. I said it's pretty even but insist that there are more woman so now I'm curious
They should of named it the Malement.
helement2003 06-09-2004, 07:46 PM now despite what this poll says...
it isn't a fair sample...who's to say that more men visit car message boards online vs. women.
GYPSYTDA 06-09-2004, 08:27 PM now despite what this poll says...
it isn't a fair sample...who's to say that more men visit car message boards online vs. women.ah so true and what does it really matter anyhow.. but alas interesting to see how many gals and guys we have in our little club!

I agree about the Jetta. Most that I see are twenty-something hot chicks.
kato76 06-15-2004, 07:35 AM I agree about the Jetta. Most that I see are twenty-something hot chicks.
He doesn't find it very funny ...
popeye 10-30-2004, 09:17 PM i'm not sure...so far i've only seen boys drive the e...not even at the fall foliage tour in ct a few weeks ago with several e's...or in the city, not once a girl behind the wheel
but from what i read on this board, there's (well, obviously!) various girls/women driving e's...
personally i think it's a very contemporary/modern concept, therefore it's kinda uni-sex, i'd say ;-)
what are girls and boys cars anyways? F150 and H2's boys toys and volkswagen beetle or the slk 230 a chicks car? your opion please, dear clubbers ;-)

Personally, I would be driving a full SUV or full size four door pick up.......but we have one of those in the household already (the husbands), and I can NOT justify spending even MORE money on gas than we do already! I will have one again, someday, but right now, we are investing money in some real estate, and other ventures-not gas! so for now, my little E will do.......... 8) I hate sports cars and beetles, fyi......
Unnatural Disaster 11-13-2004, 11:04 PM I'm a guy
part16john 12-28-2004, 08:59 AM dude here!!
ELEMENTDUDE 12-28-2004, 10:36 AM Ima a guy. I do have to say many of the girls I seeing driving Elements are cute!! Typically Earthy and No excesive Make Up!! Just Wholesome Element lovers!!
horseygal 03-09-2005, 07:15 PM :) I bought the E just so I could be dirty and muddy and not worry about my car. Since I work at a horse farm, the E is perfect for me. We're even talking about taking our miniture horse, Sam, in it when we take him to visit people in nursing homes and hospitals! :-D
And by the way...my previous car was a yellow vw bug.
StLouisPenguin 03-09-2005, 07:24 PM You should tell your friend to check out LPTRixie.com The Jetta is one of the official cars of the Licoln Park Trixie's (a group of Chicago Yuppie Females with too much time on their hands)
cai88 03-10-2005, 08:54 PM I hate Jetta's with a passion. I'm also not your run of the mill girl. I've grown up with a car crazy father. I would never drive one of those typical "girl" cars. I got the E because it just fits me.
LEGO MY E 03-11-2005, 12:19 AM Well, last I checked my "boys" were still there! I laugh whenever I see a "Macho Man", "Tough Brute", "Big Boy" truck or SUV... to me, that says "I have a really small *****, and so I must COMPENSATE somehow for my lack of manhood"!
No, the Honda Element is NOT for the "Macho Boy" type guy. It is reserved for those men among us who are SECURE in their manhood to realize that the Element is one AWESOME ride! :) The only exception to the rule is when a truck is TRULY needed to perform some task, such as hauling a trailer, or for heavy industrial use. Most that I see though are "trailer queen", "don't wan't to get 'em dirty", BLING-BLING-mobiles! :)
cai88 03-11-2005, 02:19 PM Hmmm note to self: Do not date guys with big trucks!
Thanks Lego
DogCar 03-11-2005, 04:00 PM (scratch)...anyone seen The Three Stooges lately?...how about Caddy Shack?
Yog-E 03-29-2005, 01:28 PM ....m.....
leeloehr 03-29-2005, 01:43 PM I have noticed that more males drive E's and more females drive CRV's.
gfxguy 03-29-2005, 01:43 PM gfxGUY here... I'd say I've seen about an even number of each driving the E, but I agree with ELEMENTDUDE about the "chicks" I've seen driving the E - usually pretty cute. The guys actually tend to be like me, middle aged (or quasi middle aged), often with a beard...
Frankly, if I cared about what people thought, I wouldn't have bought an E, though. A Jetta wagon was on my short list, and only removed because of the quality control problems (I've since heard that Jettas are assembled in Mexico and have a lot of quality issues, but the Jetta Wagons are assembled in Germany and don't... don't know how true that is, though).
One of the nicest guys I know drives a new Beetle, which I generally thought of as a woman's car. I call him "the nicest you'll ever know that can kick your ass." He's a martial arts instructor, proficient (to a teaching level and beyond) in several different arts. His wife is a hottie ballet dancer.
My wife, on the other hand, loves the E and would kill for a Ridgeline. When I showed her the Toyota concept, she flipped over it.
So much for gender-typing cars.
Yog-E 03-29-2005, 02:38 PM I've seen more old ladies driving E's here in Austin than I feel comfortable with. It was the same when I was driving a Volvo Cross-Country. A cool, rugged AWD wagon that only me and old ladies liked to drive.
I also see guys like me, late 20's to late 30's, outdoorsy types driving the Element. Have seen only one cute girl driving one and she's my friend so that doesn't count. Another cute girl friend is probably going to get one soon so that'll be two, I guess. :)
brettselement 03-29-2005, 04:37 PM guy with an E...that sounds bad
BigAl205 03-22-2008, 07:22 PM Who cares if the Element is a male or female or about the ratio of M/F users? I think Chozn started the other thread to get everybody with "unisex" screen names to tell whether they are a guy or girl. There is no option for this info on the user profile, so when you're addressing someone you don't know whether they are a he or a she.
Personally, I'm a he. :D
kissya 03-22-2008, 07:26 PM Last time I checked.....all girl..:D
BigAl205 03-22-2008, 08:33 PM I'm confused:confused:
I think you're female.

Oh yeah..Thanks Al!:D
russbuss 03-22-2008, 08:37 PM adult boy here!:D
bannerguy 03-22-2008, 09:35 PM Not only am I a guy, but so is my E!! It took me a good few weeks, but then "Buster" made it clear to me that "it" was a he - and we both feel better about things!
Darth Raider 03-22-2008, 10:40 PM I am a MALE, and so is "Darth Raider!!!"
Chief
Darth Raider 03-22-2008, 10:48 PM I know that Chozn is too shy to post a picture of "The Precious,"so as a friend, I'll do it for him!
