: Have you seen the Element Advertisements?
Stacy 02-23-2004, 04:52 PM Hello everyone! I am new to Element Owners Club! I currently do not own an Element, however, for my class, I am completing a Marketing Case Study on the Honda Element. All your answers and comments will be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers, Stacy
docgoku 02-25-2004, 04:29 PM I really, really can't stand the ads. They are geared to my generation which more often then not live at home with mom and dad.
My wife and I are not typical so maybe we are just a different demographic but the ads come off too hippy for me.
It didn't stop me from buying the car, but they would do much better with ads showing only the car and not people that exclude some of their possible market. Nissan does a good job of this with their marketing. It's a car, but then again not all everything in marketing is about product... image is important to many people. So that's the topic of this marketing analysis the Element's sales: do they come from image or actual product quality. I think it's product quality hands down....

Which reminds me...I asked one of the Empeg fans to create a boot-up logo for my in-car MP3 player, and he obliged!

GYPSYTDA 04-01-2004, 08:21 AM Very cool.. that sounds neat! PS I love your mini image there!
music&dogs 04-01-2004, 02:06 PM I've wondered why I rarely see an Element ad. I've maybe seen two or three in the past five months. I didn't feel the ad spoke to me and I didn't feel it expressed this car's attributes very well.
Bald Eagle 04-08-2004, 08:05 PM For such an innovative vehicle, the ads are pretty mundane. At least they aren't embarrassing...like the Pilot ads with the guy raised by wolves.

LEGO MY E 10-08-2004, 09:55 PM you're welcome! :)
Yeah, that's the only Element commercial that I'm aware of. I wish they'd make some more, but next time they should use LEGO's instead of Mega Bloks! ;)
LEGO MY E 10-10-2004, 02:04 PM Personally, I liked THIS commercial better! ;)

Don't know why...
I have seen TWO Element commercials. But only ONCE for each....they aren't exactly blitzing the airwaves with Element marketing in this neck of the woods anyway.
The "lego" commerical is interesting and pretty cool to watch, but not very informative about the ACTUAL car.
The montage of images flashing by of the different people in the back of the Element is good but I only saw it played once on late night TV, I think during some Star Trek variant. Interesting commercial placement.
