Hello everyone! I am new to Element Owners Club! I currently do not own an Element, however, for my class, I am completing a Marketing Case Study on the Honda Element. All your answers and comments will be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers, Stacy

Well Stacey, you sound more like a market researcher than a student but I'll bite.

I use my element for everything. We have a CRV but that is the girlfriends.
It is my daily driver plus my PAV, personal adventure vehicle. I needed a truck, yes I call it a truck, that could do most everything. It takes us to the cabin with the dog and bikes, it take the dog to the bark park and I don't have to worry if he gets dirty. Plus, it has Passenger space on the rare occasions the I need it. I can do a haul to the dump or a load from the hardware store so I have topay someone to do it, but then I don't have lift anything. It does the most for the least money and best millage.

The E! does it all.
Mine is a daily commuter: school to work to sleep to school to work to sleep etc....(about 110 miles daily) and on the weekends it is the ultimate road tripper. I take it camping, snowboarding, beach mobiling, and pimpin'.
I also call mine a truck. Its great for hauling stuff (i've helped 7 people move with a 8th planned in the near future) and just all around good times.
The latest person to ride in my E! (for the first time) said that riding in the E was like watching a movie (cause the windsheild is so big)

Stacy, if you haven't driven one, you oughta!
Thats probably the best way to answer some questions you might have about the E!'s of the world!

I've got to agree with Bonez on the market research thing...but wtf -
I'm a computer consultant, so my daily driving can easily top 100 miles. and that often includes hauling computers and their associated STUFF.
I haul the dog to the off-leash area(bark park, love it!) and let him jump right in, dripping mud or not.
I made a run to the dump and one to goodwill in the same day last week. Picked up 3 rolls of indoor/outdoor carpeting and hauled them home yesterday.
Oh yeah, and on the weekends I'm a telemark skier/kayaker/hiker/biker.

whew! I'm tired just typing that...

I'm in video production, so I use mine to haul production gear. It's the absolutely perfect vehicle for that, and I've already been responsible for one guy buying one, another guy saying he'll buy one, and a third guy counting his pennies to save up for one.

Some people call it a truck, some call it a car, some call it an SUV. In some ways it's all of those. The one nobody mentions is VAN. I think the Element is the ultimate Sport-Utility Van (there, now it's officially an SUV!) It has that great flat floor and cavernous interior that's like a van, and the wide-opening side like a van, but it drives like a car, hauls like a truck, and can go off-road like an SUV... so I think it's a Sport-Utility Van.

Whatever you call it, it's an absolutely brilliant vehicle, the most functional vehicle on the road for utilitarian purposes, and the only van I can think of that has a 4WD option!

well for the daily routine, I'm in orthopedic sales so it's carrying a lot of instruments and products from home to hospitals and such. Enough that I need to keep the back seats up and out of the way for everything to fit.

For play it hauls around various kayaks and outriggers as well as my mountain and road bikes. Will be taking me to quite a few races in the coming months, to the shore and what not. As I'm not in a shore house this summer I'm sure I'll be spending some weekend nights in the back sleeping

And knowing my family even though my sister just got an All-Road, I'm sure I'll be the family hauler now as well.

We just bought our Element a week ago and rolled 1000 miles today.

We use ours for just about everything...hauling children to school, running errands and for our businesses. We own an outdoor gear store so we are using the roof-rack for carrying kayaks and skis, and we are in the process of ordering a trailer hitch to haul the 8 place kayak trailer during the summer months. We also own an RV park...so the Element (pardon a bad pun) is in its element!

Brendan...take a look on the map at where Roscommon, MI is (!) and you will see how easy it is to roll up the miles trying to get anywhere up here! Actually, we had a 500 mile trip yesterday visiting a business we are looking at buying in the Upper Peninsula. The Element drew a crowd every place we pulled into...most had never seen one before!
