And what, pray tell, is NOPI? None of the web sites, including NOPI.com, care to define the term. Or is it like KFC and AARP and SRI, letters that allegedly have no meaning anymore?

NOPI stands for Not Ordinary Parts Inc. I asked that of a representative at SEMA many years ago. I hope he was serious?

They were one of the earliest serious suppliers of aftermarket performance and appearance mods for VWs. They did the amorphous "NOPI" thing back in the '80's when they wanted a bigger presence with other import makes since the air-cooled VW market was pretty much on the skids.
