I have a 2004 Element EX with a little over 93,300 miles. I'm having my car taken in for the ignition switch recall next week and I'm thinking now might be a good time to replace the shocks.
I haven't received any notification from the dealership based on inspection that the shocks need to be replaced. But I have noticed some bumping and squeaking when my car rolls over a dip in the road and my wife tends to complain about the bumpy ride.
What shocks can you guys recommend? I don't do anything crazy with the car. Just your average suburban commute and occasional interstate road trips.
Thanks!
