To get a good idea how common the windshield issue really is.
Have it come up on the home page. Not just under the problems and issue's headings.

ask:
did you have a windshield crack for no apparent reason?
was it repaired under warrenty?

Great idea for a poll! One comment: I think you should include an option for "windshield crack *with* apparent reason." This is because a lot of people have reported getting cracks instead of what they felt should have been a minor chip.
