I had my E for 6 days now and loving it. However, the trunk light and the trunk-open warning light at the dash stay on at all time. It is definitely not becuase I did not close the door properly. I have already brought back to the dealer once. They worked on it for 20 minutes and gave it back to me saying the problem is fixed. Now ithe lights are on again. Has anybody have such a problem ? What are my optiions?

I had this problem, and it turned out that the BOTTOM hatch (tailgate) was not closed all the way.

Options to me seem to be living with it, or taking it to the dealer until it is fixed, or learning to adjust the switches yourself. I think I'd try to figure out the switches myself. Good luck.

I've had it as well - specifically on mine it was the right side of the lower hatch - now when I close the hatch, I push on the right upper side on the lower half to make sure it's all the way - otherwise sometimes you can pull at the lower half and see the right side pull away a bit from the frame around it.
