I am still looking for my dream E...
this idea just popped into my head.

Since the E's are all unique colors... is it really hard to find touch-up paint for a scratch?

you can order it from Honda, is available at walmart or the usual auto parts store.

Actually, really cheap. Less then $10 bucks at H&A. Handa Accessories.

Dealers generally have touchup paint in stock. In this case it might not be worth the shipping charges to order online.

Do you reallllly want to use touch up paint? When I was looking at Elements to buy, it was always very obvious when the last owner had used the stuff. I used it on my Prelude and even while trying to use the thinnest coat possible it still showed badly.

Very solid point! Mean-O! lOl Ruin his day, now he won't buy an E. Nah, it's a very very good point though!

Trick with touch up paint is you want to clean the surface, heat the panel and apply the paint a little thick. This may be different from what others suggest but its what I learned as a kid in the 70's from all the old skool hot rod and kustom guys. Touch up paint isnt made for a scratch, its made for door knicks and rock chips. If you have scratches, try some buffing. If youve never done this, hit up a local body/paint shop and see what they will charge to buff out your entire car.

Before doing this though, ask yourself is it worth the money involved. You know the scratch is there but does anyone else notice it. Sometimes a simple wash and clay bar will do the trick. Sounds impossible but try it.
