Just curious if anyone has heard any buzz about Honda improving their warranty any time soon. Most of its competition has upped their warranties to at least 4yr/50,000 mile coverage. While my family has owned Honda's in the past and had few problems with them, a more competitive warranty would give customers more piece of mind.
If not the increased warranty, I'd at least really like to see Honda offer loaner cars for when your car is in the shop, as rare as it may be. My aunt has had her 2002 Civic in the shop for rattles, and getting to and from the dealership and work is a PAIN to say the least. Mazda offers a loaner with their 4yr/50,000 mile warranty, and Acura does as well (my father has used this 2x and said it makes taking the car to the shop so much more bareable).
Anyway, that convenience when the car is in the shop is one aspect I'm considering in my car search. When the 2 cars I'm considering (Mazda3 hatch and Element) cost nearly the same sticker wise, the little things like Head impact air bags, warranty, and loaner cars are some of the things I start to think about.
Anyone heard anything?
