My 2009 SC will need new tires soon. I'm going to get about 60,000 on the original Goodyears, which is the most I've ever gotten from a set of tires. I'm tempted to stick with the OEM tires just because of the mileage, but I'm not thrilled with them in other areas, mainly ride and noise. Does anyone have experience with Hancook Optimo H727 tires on an SC? If so, please let me know about handling, wear, ride, noise, etc.

I believe those Hankooks were what I was running on my SC wheels before bumping up to 20" wheels. They were great tires. Not much to compare with since I never ran Goodyears. The Hankooks were not noisy and traction was good for all weather.

I would recommend the Michelin Hydroedge. I have about 8,000 miles on mine and they are much better than the OE Goodyears (replaced at 65,000 miles). Michelin is currently running a $70 rebate.

Great tires especially in the rain.

As always, YMMV.

I have had them on my SC for about 10 months, much better than the goodyears, better ride and less noise, they have done good in the rain and snow. the have a softer side wall, but they still handle good. I first read about them in consumer reports and they rated them really good. I got them for $618 installed,I looked at the Michelin but they were more money,I think the hankooks have a 100,000 mile warrenty
