I have a bunch of cds and a bunch of mp3s.

Anyone have any advice as to which I should get?

Get a head unit that plays MP3 cd's and also has an aux jack. That way you can coonect something like an iPod, play your cds, or burn mp3 cd's as well.

Unless you're hard core for the complete factory-only thing, get an aftermarket HU that plays MP3 and CD. I got the Alpine 9807 installed for $275. Does CD and MP3, has seperate sub control and AUX control. It can be hooked up to the existing amp, sub, and AUX jack in the dash. Works and souds great. With the Media Expander, it really lets you fine tune the sound. Good sound, features and usability for not a lot of $$$.

Let me be clear. I got a 40 Gig ipod for Christmas, and it is, bar none, the best piece of audio equipment I have ever owned. I will never burn a cd for the rest of my life. The ipod completely changes how you listen to music. Outstanding.
