I am taking delivery of my New EX on tuesday.
I've been serching the net for hours today reading up on replacing the factory speakers and my head is spinning!
I am leaning towards (4) Polk Audio db6500.
Anyone use these or have any comments about them? Will I be ok using this setup with the factory head and amp?
Thanks for any help!

Let me try again, being a little more specific.
I've been checking out this (excellent) site http://www.govst.edu/users/gallery/element-j/
reading about the speaker/tweeter install.
It sounds great to me, but the speakers shown/used are discontinued. Tweeters are still available.
I go to Crutchfield and when I see whats compatible with an '04 EX it shows 5 1/4" speakers, and not many to choose from.
I am not an audio conisuer (sp?) by any means, but I know a good sounding stereo when I hear one.
That is what I am after....a really nice sounding stereo in my new E.
Can anyone recomend 4 speakers and a set of tweeters that will give me a better sound than factory?
I like the Infinity 1001t's that are on the above site, I would be able to follow the installation guide, and it seems the crossover is nice and small. Can someone recomend 4 good speakers to go with these tweeters and the factory head/woofer?
I think this question has pretty much been answered many times over. Check the "List of speakers..." thread that eMass made sticky at the top of the forum. You will find various options and some subjective evaluation.
Offering advice on what sounds good is difficult since what you consider good may not be my idea of good. You may prefer metal tweeters when I have always prefer silk dome. I think the best advice anyone can give you is to go listen to as many as possible till you find one you like.
I think unless you feel the need for Crutchfield's great customer service, you can always find speakers for a better price than Crutchfield. They offer a lot of little extras that some customers find invaluable while others (including me) would prefer to save on the premium they charge. Again do a search and look around and you will see where many of us have bought our toys.
Have fun with your purchases and install!
