: Rear Socket Location?

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I did have an 03 cavalier which I modded myself but since sold it for a more stock car. My dad is letting me drive his 2005 Honda Element. I am not going to mod it but I have a few questions. First, where is the rear socket location? It should be in plain sight, but I have a bad habit of not finding things and I cannot for the life of me find it. It says I have a socket for it, so it should be there right? Also, I tried pulling off a rubber cover on the right side in the the rear to see if it was there, and it wasn't. I lost that rubber cover. Is there anyone out there who would be nice enough to send me a replacement for it? It's right above the organizer in the rear right. It is about the size of a quarter, or accessory socket. Thank you!

i think i found the solution to my own question:

it seems i have a model that doesn't have the rear socket. if any of you have done this mod to your model that doesn't have it, or are planning to do it, would you mind sending me the cover for it. i am a perfectionist and it really bothers me with that hole there. thank you!

Can you please post a picture of what you are missing.
Also if you do not have a rear 12VDC outlet, then your E is not an EX.
The EX comes with them as standard equipment. You have an LX. Can
you please update your profile, that way we can be better able to help
you out.

Or let us know if you see it in this picture below.

Part #3 in the illustration AztecRol posted above seems to be the plug in question, with the unlikely name of "cap, sunroof maintenance," Honda p/n 83201-SS0-000YG (http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~cap~sunroof~maintenance~83201-SS0-000YG.html) (gray, for gray/green or gray/blue interiors) or p/n 83201-SS0-000ZB (http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~cap~sunroof~maintenance~83201-SS0-000ZB.html) (black, for black/gray interiors), lists for $2.65. Your local Honda dealer should be able to get one for you.

Now that we know you don't have an EX, Jschristian44, please update your profile, including your location.

you might as well buy the power outlet accessory instead of the cap. You already did one of the required steps to add the rear outlet.

Thanks Wrenchmeister, but I suspect Schristian44 is a seagull.
