Hello there "E"-philes,

I with my fellow group members for an advertising class are collecting some information regarding the Honda Element. We would like to invite you and other Element owners if available to a short 1-1/2 hour discussion regarding the Element on Saturday March 13th at 10:30 AM. If you are 35+ years of age drive an Element we want you. Location has yet to be decided (but it is going to be near Santa Monica). Please RSVP with me, Mike, at "mikeyamato@daviselen.com" with the following information: Name, Age, Gender, Contact Number, & Alternative Contact Number. Pastries and refreshments will be served.

Also, if you know of other Element owners please pass/forward this email along. The more the better.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you,

Hey EOC members! It's time to finally represent!!!!

I've had a couple emails with Mike Yamato and it looks like that the purpose of these sessions is to determine whether Honda needs to "reposition the car and not soley target the Gen Y crowd". Basically, someone is interested in knowing if Honda has truly missed its mark with regards to the demographics.

I know many of you have stated how Honda needs to do something about their advertising focus and how they have screwed up their marketing strategies. So I believe this will be the chance to make a difference and have our voices heard "officially". And even if it is just for a "class" who knows what they might be able to do with the info they gather from us.

So if you're in the LA/SoCal area, drop Mike a line and let him know you'll be there! And maybe we can all go hang out afterwards or something and have a mini-meet.

And it looks like they might be having both a young and old group sessions...so everybody's invited!!!

And here's the email we had discussing the purpose of the session:

>From: Mike Yamato

>we're trying to see why the older demographics are buying this car.
>nothing against the younger crew. because as you know...honda had
>the intentions of selling the car to gen y. but as it turns out the
>baby boomers are purchasing the car also. we just want to see, if
>honda should reposition the car and not solely target the gen y
>crowd. we're actually putting together a group of young people.
>would you be interested in attending if we do have one?

See ya'll there!
