My keyless entry which has worked for months has stopped flashing the lights and tooting the horn. The doors still lock / unlock but no longer any visual feedback.

I have checked all the lights, they work. Any sugestions, if not I will pull out the install intructions and double check all my work..

To be honest, I am installing some aftermarket foglights and may have knocked a wire loose under the dash looking for a way to get a wire from under the dash to under the hood, which I found. Install of the lights is complete except for the switch. I took pictures all along the way and will document the install when complete.

perhaps the battery in the remote is running low?

Mine did the same thing once when the door was not completely shut. So perhaps you do have a short somewhere.
