I got to ride in the back seat with my kiddos today. I'm truly disappointed with the amount of road noise "hum" and lack of air flow in the rear (even with all 4 windows fully open). Try it.

I am beginning to be concerned about the long exposure of that constant sound. It made the trip kinda of uncomfortable, for me. I bought ours in Sept and never really hung out in the back like on this trip.

Any one know of a vibration dampening material I can use in my case.

Lay off the burritos?
My kids don't complain, neither do they drive, so I guess I'll never experience it.

Do you have an FWD or AWD? If an AWD, you could try opening the "fifth" window to help with airflow.

Aside from noise, the ride in back is always going to be choppy/jumpy for two reasons: a) the wheelbase of the vehicle is short and b) the rear seats are directly over the rear axles, which means no isolation from bumps unlike the front seats.

That's probably a cause of the rear road noise issue.

Anyway, that's why I got the 270W system. :)
