hmmm can't wait to test out our new element 4wd on the california beaches...

Friday 3/19/04 update:
on the roads, our 5spd Elements really rides well: quick and agile...fun to drive. :D
i've felt the AWD kick-in on gravel and dirt roads... it's reactive: works fine.

we'll be sleeping in our Element tonight at the trailhead before we start off backpacking tomorrow morning.

Element is a lot more roomy & quiet compared to the the 2000 jeep wrangler sahara (we'll be driving our Titan for 'serious' off road trail riding).
