They exported RHD Elements to Japan for the years 2003-2005. They had factory HID's and there were also factory JDM yellow fog lights. I ran across a set a couple of months ago and installed them in "Darth Raider." I've had the fogs for a while but I wasn't going to use them without the headlights. They have superior brightness over the OEM headlights, they don't use a projector like the HID kits they sell here.

Besides the better lighting, the initial thing that I had to get use to was the illumination pattern. On the LHD USA Element, the illumination pattern goes to the right at night. Because these were made for a RHD vehicle, the pattern goes to the left. But other than that, I am extremely pleased with them. I wanted to use them for a while before I reported back on them just to see if there would be any draw backs, but so far I can't see any.

I couldn't agree with you more! This was the third set I ran across over the last six years and I finally pulled the trigger myself. I guess since they discontinued the Element, I didn't know how many more opportunities I would get, so I went for it.

Cool! I actually thought those were projector driving lights. I'm not trying to be a Dick, but it looks like you've got a wire/harness hanging down behind the drivers side one though.

Those are 3" fog lights that are in the front fascia, the German Hella Horns are behind the grill.

Then I'm glad we cleared that up, I was thinking about the horns in there behind the grill. The 3" fogs will be coming out anyway because I'm currently doing some major custom work on my front end and I just installed 55w PIAA's behind the grill which will fit with the new look when I finished.
