In the plastic bag that holds the antitheft radio ID card is a little dime-size black plastic button with a projection on one side. Looks to be a "plug" for a jack or what?

Thanks

The tech that did the "PDI" (pre-delivery inspection) on your E didn't install the shift lock cover. Look at your shifter area, is there a hole that looks like it may need a cover? If so, insert cover there.

If you didn't get the sunroof mounted anti-aircraft missle launcher option, then this button is extra.

Your black plastic button is for the working ejection seat that James Bond must have ordered.

They also forgot to do that on mine...which reminds me, I never did install those darn rubber gaskets to cover up the holes not covered by side-steps...wonder what gunk has built up in there...
