I'm seeing dealers advertising 5 door EX elements. What does that mean?

Mine has 5 doors...The 2 driver side, the 2 passenger side, and the one in the back. Its more of a tailgate and hatch, but you can still use it to get inside your car, hence a door.

I believe that all it means is they're counting the back hatch as a "door." Never quite understood that - it's not like I get in and out that way.
