I just put in an "add a circuit" to run a three way 12 volt into my console. I tapped into the existing 12v fuse and used a 15 amp fuse, to ground it I ran the wire to the bolt to the right of the fuse panel. Is this right?

2and I have a couple of "strip lites" use for the exterior. I want to use them to light the console. Is it okay to just splice into my new 12v wires?
