This is a quick note telling other interested parties of a wheeling event at the Hollister Hills SVRA. The day will be spent enjoying the facility with the trails and obsticle courses. Please contact me as soon as possible if you'd like to attend. This is not limited to those with 4 wheel drive, but it is suggested. Bring a Lunch.

is that no. cal or so. cal?? i'll try n go if it's within 300 miles of LA ;)
GeepM 03-22-2004, 10:55 AM It's more local to No. Cal, however based on a generic search on map quest, it showed up as being 306 miles (more or less) and just under 5 hours... I have driven from bakersfield to Hollister before, and it's not too bad (and remember that time is based on an average of the speed limits)...

Sheniferous 03-22-2004, 11:10 AM damn... okay i'm so gonna try and go. i'll post here when i find out for sure.
GeepM 03-25-2004, 10:03 PM Sheniferous, I haven't heard back from you. but to let you know, no-one seems interested (people said they go, but have since disapeared), so it's likely going to be just me, even if I still decide to go. I'd feel bad with you making such a long trip and there not be a good turnout.
Sorry, we'll see you at Pismo tho!

ahh... okay then...
... i guess there should've been at least a month notice or something!
GeepM 03-25-2004, 10:25 PM Memebers of the California Honda Element Off-Highway Adventurers (Yahoo) had plenty of time to get there stuff together... If you wanted to, you could still come up, and I'd show you around... Or we could plan something closer (Hungry Valley, Gorman, CA), as I work in Bakersfield during the week...
