Alabama has taken on the toughest immigration laws in the country and has begun to crack down on illegal immigrants, immediately affecting the fifth largest automotive manufacturing state in the country. A second foreign auto worker was issued a citation at Honda's factory in Lincoln, Alabama on Wednesday.

The new immigration law requires proper identification to be shown during routine traffic stops. Those that police suspect of being in the country illegally can be immediately detained. Honda already issued out a statement that the person in question, a Japanese national, is working with authorities to resolve the matter.

This isn't the first auto worker that has had to deal with the new Alabama immigration laws. Earlier last week, Detlev Hager, a German executive, was arrested when he didn't have a passport or driver's license with him. The charges were later dropped and Hager was let go.

While I don't want to spur a discussion on immigration laws on a motor vehicle forum, I don't see how it's a giant hassle to carry ID. I've got ID in my pocket every time I leave the house. I kind of assumed everybody else does, too, but apparently that's wrong!

Well since they own the site, they can post what they want when they want.
That being said, no one is making you click on any of their links. Being a mod, I
click on EVERY link that gets posted (for obvious reasons). If I have a problem
with a link, I will report it. I have never had a problem with any of the links in
here, they all go where they are supposed to, the pop up quickly, and do not
stall or doing anything evil to my computer. Just an FYI, I use W7 and Vista
on two different computers, both with IE and FF. If you have a problem, dont
hesitate to PM me. I have no problems running full tests on any link in this forum.

Didn't know they owned the site , it certainly explains alot ! Why shouldn't I click on , what I think might be interesting reading (honda museum) can you fix the no info on any picture ? Just thought it stunk !
I can't even tell you how many people , I've come across , with no proper ID over the years , it's a federal problem they say , lock em up , they let them out ! It truly gets frustrating over the years , anyway , I'm running windows 7 and thought I saw your windows vista here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mXDwA9GZQw&feature=related
