I came across this thread (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=944457) of gorgeous custom gauge faces for the Element (and other cars too) by Black Cat Custom. They are a bit expensive, so I decided to look into a group buy/ group discount/ promo period/ etc.

A little googling revealed that they occasionally offer 15-30% discounts for limited amounts of time. Within a week I'm going to ask them what they are willing to offer (if anything), and post the info back here.

So this post is a heads up that something good may be coming, and I don't want my peeps to miss it, should it be for a limited time only.

I believe they do all years and are very willing to do custom designs. If you get a mockup/info, post it in the other thread for everyone to see.

yes it is.....the color swatch is not that accurate

the only reason i posted pics in this thread is because I have REAL pictures of the product installed on an 09+....the mock up pictures for 09+ are dork!

Wickster, what color if any did you use for the accent color? Thinking of doing the same but with pearl orange!

Hmm...I was all set to get white-faced gauges, but then I realized that the needles are whitish, so how is that going to look? My last car had white gauges with red needles, so I think I need to replace the needles. I wonder if they are interchangeable among Hondas like so many other parts...

Other items of note:

-It looks like they can probably do ANYTHING you design, so be sure to ask them if you have an awesome idea.
-Be sure to check out the "Custom Colors" and "Custom Design" sections of the website.
-There are more colors for gauges, and lighting filters than are offered in the pulldowns. Look around the site, and ask if you don't see what you want.
-Share your ideas, and your finished products in the other thread. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
-Order swatches quickly (if needed), as they take roughly a week to arrive (at least in CA).
-PLEASE be polite when communicating with Black Cat and say THANKS for offering us a discount when they didn't have to.
