Hi guys,

New to the scene and been looking locally for a couple months for an element (Element specs in my avatar aren't actual) and all I see on Craigs are salvaged Elements. I mean I've seen ALOT of them with salvaged titles. Are they more prone to accidents?

TIA.

Hi John,
To answer your question, I first did a google search..and I read an article and it didn't have the Honda Element as an accident-prone car. The horn is pretty weak and wimpy so you may want to upgrade that if you buy one. I feel its pretty safe and I can see almost everything b/c there are so many windows. The handling is awesome, has ABS brakes, mine has AWD so its great in the snow. I've had mine for 2 years and I've been in one accident(not my fault, but it is one accident) Alritey then...just buy a Volvo

Thanks Eric.

We love the design since we have two dogs and the interior would be perfect for them. I know the 05 has side air bags and the 07's had side curtain airbags so I will be looking for at least an 05 to be on the safe side.
