overheard pipe in garage leaked and some corrosive fluid took a couple of small spots of paint off my panel(not very obvious) but the damage was done to tinted side window(not one that opens)window that is next to rear window..
it took the tint off..i have a one inch wide, 7 inch long white streak down the window..told landlady she will pay..aside from getting the whole window replaced(about how much would that be with labour?) is there anyway to fix that white on window? tint film wouldnt do it since the white stain is on outside...thanks. the 4wd ex is only 9 days old!!

I used to do some work in a glass shop and know a little about glass! The tinting on your window is nothing more than for lack of a better word, food color but it is mix into the glass therefore the corrosive damage done is probably nothing more than some staining and can most likly be removed with somthing like CLR. if not then take to a glass polising shop and they can probably buff the stain out!
