: Moving to South Florida...and looking for a good dealer...

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place but I wanted to ask: Can anyone recommend a good dealer in South Florida? (I have a job in Oakland Park, and am looking for a place to move somewhat close.) I have worked with a "President's Award" dealer here in New Mexico and have been very happy, so I was hoping to find a good dealer/service department to work with in Florida, too.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Nobody ever responded to your querie? Did you ever find a dealership? Pompano Honda has been very good to me in all aspects...selling an E to me at a great price and servicing as well. I have been very happy with them.

In case you were never officially welcomed, I welcome you. It's not that Floridians are not friendly, it just seems like they are too damn busy to take any time out for others. Do you own an E? Tell us a little about yourself.

Thank you for welcoming me; that was very kind. I have been out in south Florida (Plantation) for about a month now and have actually found that Floridians are kind. People out here have been pleasant. Well, about myself: Yes, I have a GG E as described on my sig that I am very pleased with. I will be teaching with Broward County Schools starting in August. I am glad to be out of New Mexico and in south Florida! That's all for now, I guess! (Thanks for asking!)

I guess I should be more observant. I do see that you have a galapogos green E with some nice accessories. I just got mine. It's Nighthawk Black Pearl, 2WD automatic. It has a whole 102 miles on it as of today. I would like to add some cool accessories as well, but right now I have to save my $ after just purchasing the vehicle. I really do love it, though. My family and I are planning on taking a road trip to Northern Georgia next week. It will be a good way to break it in and see some forests and mountains. I really love the way the Element drives.

That's interesting that you will be working in the Broward County School system. My wife and I also teach in Hollywood. I've been a teacher for about 25 years. Good luck to you!

i would have to say that pompano honda is about the best. whatever you do, do not go to coral springs honda. they could not fix a sandwich.

Calvin13, what is a K&N short ram intake? Is that the air cleaner? Does it add any horsepower to the engine? Also, a lot of E owners talk about this Lund bug deflector. Do you or anyone else know where I can get one and who could install it? Thanks!

short ram is like a cold air intake with less tubing.

What is the advantage of this? Does it add that much more horsepower to the engine?

bought my sunset orange ex last month at pompano honda in pompano beach, on federal highway. got good price and financing too from honda finance. good credit score helps. always took my 93 civic there for service, and they always did a great job, everything fixed right the first time.
