In Japan, if spring comes, many flowers of a cherry tree will bloom, and Japanese people look at it and do the party.

My ELEMENT looks at and is also pleased with the flower of a cherry tree.

How did you get that ray of sunlight to gently luminate the top of your E???? :?: Really nice pictures.

:D VERY NICE!!!!!

As I sit here this morning, tunes on, coffee and looking out the glass doors, the sun is shining on the fruit trees and their blossoms. It's going to be a nice day. Grab the GPS and head to the Mountains for some Hiking and GeoCaching.

I am poor at English and am using translation software.
I'm sorry if the text is wrong.
(The cherry tree was not a flower but blossom...)

I am glad to praise my photograph.
Since the photograph was taken from the lower angle on the day which cleared up very much, I think that sunlight was reflected by chance.

So how do you like the American-built Japanese car?

Nothing to worry about, we all get the idea :D

Those pictures are amazing! Thanks so much for joining us!
So, how DO you like your Element? Have you done any modifications(hope that translates right)?

In Washington, DC (nearby), the Cherry Blossom Festival is still going on, thanks to the gift of the Japanese government of many cherry blossom trees.

PS - also...we would love to see three or four pictures of the the back seats! We only have seating for 4 in our Elements, and I would love to see how the Japanese Element allows for seating for 5!

You also seem to have an additional decal or sticker next to the Element logo on the back/rear hatch...what does it say?

In Japan, the car of Honda is running in large numbers very much.
However, ELEMENT can hardly be seen.
It is very glad if it sees by chance.
Since I can see every day after buying it personally, I am glad every day.

The appearance top has attached only the mud guard.
A navigation system,
Electronic Toll Collection System,
and the engine starter take the side of others.

It replies to a request.
It is a back seat.

Ouch, feel sorry for whoever has to sit in the middle of back seat!
No cup holders for back seat occupants either.

Well, while it does still have the straps, at least it's padded, unlike ours!

Did the great emblem ("Made In U.S.A.") come with the car that way from Honda, or did you or the dealer install it after it was delivered?

thank you,

Wish Honda had put that emblem on USA models.
That'd would keep the "Buy American Car" crowd quiet.

I agree with you...plus, it's a good looking emblem!

That suggestion might be a reasonable topic for the "Dear Honda" forum.

This emblem is all attached to ELEMENT of Japan from the beginning.
It matches well very much.

Welcome to the club!

I wonder if there's any chance of getting that "made in America" emblem here in the US?

Or perhaps getting it from some friends from overseas. :)

p.s. Just for fun, can you copy my post into your translation software, and then spit it back out? I'd love to see how it comes back out. :)

sure you do. there are two "bottle holders" on the rear cargo doors. also, japanese models have 4 cup holders (instead of 3 in US) on the center console.

I just found it so it's new to me! I am wondering if anyone has inquired of Honda whether they plan to make that back seat style available in the US at any time in the future, or leave it a 4-seat vehicle? Seems like it would be nice to have the choice. :)

and it is only a guess, but i bet that in the US, having a lap-belt only middle seat is a liability issue for them. and so its not worth it.

Yowza! Everyone kept talking about the Eagle Mark and it takes an EOC member from Japan to post it up on the site. Great pics. I also see that the rear seats are the same except the cupholders and the extra lap-belt.

Domo!

Hmph. You're probably right about that.
I didn't think of the lap-belt only style being an issue, since we were lucky to have a car with functional lap-belts in the back seat when I was a kid!
Let's see, they could rig the shoulder strap up attached to one of the seat backs, and the lap belt coming out of the other seat... Oh and don't forget the $69.95 piece of padded material that will fit perfectly over the seam for increased riding comfort! :D

Can you keep an eye out for other Japan based aftermarket accessories? My relatives are tracking this now and hopefully, when I visit Japan next year in the Summer, there will be some to choose from. As of August of this year the E was not selling well in Japan and there were no aftermarket accessories to be found. Arigato, onegai shimasu,.. itsu ka nihon no kaisha no accessories attara, mata post wo ****te kudasai. Anmari eigo wo wakarenakattara, boku ni e-mail ****te kudasai. Aloha. 8)
