So last Sunday I put the first coat of wax on the E. Monday was a nice day so I moved the E out of the driveway - parked it under some sweet gum trees in front of our house - so I could get the Harley out so I could ride to work.

At dusk I went out to move the E into the driveway and ---- ugh I mean UGH !! The trees had dropped some sort droplets - speckling the entire vehicle. Not sap (I don't think) but pollen drops or tree sweat - Argh. I was too busy to deal with it until today.

I mixed up some Meguiars NXT car wash I had bought -- looked like good stuff -- I mean its metallic purple lookin'. So I washed the hood and the windshield - rinsed and -- its gone --- wooo hoooo. Cleaned the whole vehicle and its good.

Now its possible any car wash would have worked - but this stuff seems to go on really easy and clean really well without stripping the wax off.

Now those trees may have to go ...........
