Okay, so as you may or may not know, I'm in China right now, running an American restaurant. So 2 minutes ago, my mom calls me because she took my Element out today and stopped by Costco to fill up on gas, when a fellow Element owner came up and asked her where she (I) got the billet grill from. My mom, not knowing anything about my car, decided to call me long distance just to ask where I got it. Actually, she put me on with the guy and I told him I got it on eBay for $85. Anyway, long story short, there is no point to this story, except that my mom called me long distance to have some guy ask me where I got the billet grill. Weird.

I was in Hong Kong last month. Where are you? I was interested to see how eating habits have changed, especially using a seperate pair of chop sticks to move food to your plate.

My son went to Japan for two months a couple of years ago and it cost me $350 in long distance! Got any ideas for cheap overseas phone calls?

my mom uses an IP card, which gives her something around 400 minutes for $20.

:D Mom's just want any excuse to call on their children, no matter where they are.
I was on Mt. McKinley and my mom called me. 'How's the weather, are keeping warm?' That kind of stuff, I was at 17,200' for crying out loud. Mom's will be mom's, even after thirty five years of climbing or you going about doing your business. Enjoy while you can.

 Slug
