I just had to tell this story. This is as good a place as any.
As many of us pet owners know, animals can be a lot smarter than we think.
I knew Grace was smart, but this just made me go Wow!
Our town has been doing work on the water pipes in our neighborhood, so the water has been airy and somewhat dirty.
When we didnt have water, my wife and I gave the dogs some Deer Park(R) bottled water.
This morning, the tap water was a little better, so my wife filtered some through our Brita(R) pitcher and gave it to the dogs that way (I wouldnt drink it, but the dogs will usally drink anything thats wet, even beer if they can).
So, Bear and Grace are lapping up the water, and my wife goes upstairs. The next thing you know, Grace comes barrelling upstairs, jumps up on the bed with an empty bottle of Deer Park in her mouth. She dropped the bottle in front of my wife, looked at the bottle, then loked at my wife, several times.
Grace was like, " Mommy, I don't like that other water, I want this!"
I died laughing!
So cute, so so cute!
