A topic that sort of grew up in another section of the forum.

How many REAL (tm) mtn biking Element owners are out there in the Northwest and how about some local gatherings for some mtn bike rides?

Could be sorta fun to see a herd of Elements pulled up at a mtn bike spot. I bet the Kayakers have already gone down this road.

I ride mainly the "greater Seattle area". Anyone up for gathering for some Mtn bike rides?

I ride technical single track, moderate pace(depending on how many distracting photo ops), intermediate level.

Jesse, we're slackin' here. The mountain bike community assumes we're organized enough to have had a kayakin' E meet. Its a great idea. You still coming through Oregon in June? Perhaps we could live up to the reputation we seem to have generated as sporting meet pioneers and do some paddling. :D

I'm working on it!
The guy I was going to be going down there to meet is actually here in Seattle at the moment! And now he might be moving here...not sure what's up with my trip to bend...
But if it doesn't go...I'll come down to paddle anyway, just to show that we can organize something ourselves

BTW - can I crash in your driveway?

I use Roach pads, but anything is better than nothing when your knee cap hits that rock. What color is your Element...that should be the most important factor. haha. And remember....You only appreciate your knees when they are gone.... Check mtbr.com for reviews and places to buy...to name a few, like jensonUSA.com or pricepoint.com or even REI.

Weather is looking iffy for this weekend (yah I am usually a fair weather rider...to a point). Contact through the mail feature here when you want to rock and roll down the trail. Even a pair of Elements would look coooool. I know a few pretty good riding locations.

I just assumed the Kayakers would be converging with all the forum traffic I see with "kayak" in the title. Say hi to mike if you put in at the major spot on the middle fork out by North Bend WA...He kayaks and lives at the major put in spot.
