: Alternate Element colors!
SPACE E 03-26-2003, 07:35 PM I love my Sunset Orange Pearl and would not trade it for another color, but I saw a friends car today and thought what an awesome color that would be for the Element!
Let's vote for some alternative colors for the next generation Element!
Ger Brassfield 03-26-2003, 10:36 PM Why did no one put the color(s) of Desert Storm Camoflage? How would THAT grab you on a Element??
PhillyElement 03-28-2003, 09:24 AM I think it would be neat to have options on the plastic panel colors as well
boneheadz 03-28-2003, 09:58 AM I have night hawk and love the panels, but would love it more if the panels were the same color as the side steps and spoiler.
shaddow 03-28-2003, 04:18 PM I think a maroon or bordeaux colour Element would look great with the current colour of the side panels. It would add some additional class to an already great looking vehicle.
SPACE E 03-29-2003, 06:45 PM I think it would be neat to have options on the plastic panel colors as well
So do I - hmm, how about road dust grey? Maybe I'll ask Alien Element to "design" some new composites!!!
misfit 04-08-2003, 05:14 PM am i the only one that thinks purple is a cool color... yea, my house is painted purple...
SPACE E 04-08-2003, 07:23 PM My husband requested purple on the board. He wasn't allowed to vote though.
ande713 04-20-2003, 02:17 PM How about NEON GREEN LOL IT would look like an UFO with wheels :D  8)
xplicitnoize 05-26-2003, 11:10 PM What about electric blue like the mazda mp3.
1manparty 06-04-2003, 03:46 PM How about a desert tan similar to the military camoflouge currently being used in Iraq. Or fire engine red...or the blue on the Civic Si.
PEachMonstEr 01-30-2004, 12:02 PM a red E with the black panels would be real nice. graphite should replace the grey that is currently available.
orangina 02-10-2004, 10:47 AM What about OLIVE DRAB??? More of a suv color than the galapagos green
salutlemonde 02-10-2004, 01:59 PM SOP is a great color, it even matches the garage that was painted by my wife before she even knew what an Element was.
However, warm yellow would look nice too - and some of Honda's preliminary sketches showed a yellow E. Not a lemon yellow, but a deep rich yellow
kato76 02-11-2004, 01:01 PM What about rally blue with some good looking stickers a turbo charger three inches lower then we would have a Rally E

marky 02-11-2004, 01:44 PM I really like the Fuji Blue, I guess I bought too soon, but...
I was at the dealership today, and saw an S2000 in yellow. Come on Honda! You already have the paint, do some yellow Elements. Take a page from VW, have some "limited edition" colors. All the suggestions here are good: tan, red olive and purple would be a great start.
StormNet 03-06-2004, 09:56 AM Well, I have my silver E but the company I work for would love to run Elements as the company vehicle but the E is not available in white! and the company vehicle is white with red lettering. SO we are screwed. Our office is right across the street from my local Honda dealer so that would be real nice when it comes time for service but NNNOOOOOO! And some of he Elements selling points are exactly issues we have with our present company vehicles. For instance the floor. We spend alot of time in the mud and snow so the carpeting gets wrecked pretty quick in the present ford escape POS. SO HONDA ADD WHITE!
JWJW2 05-01-2004, 11:30 PM I would love the Gunmetal Gray color. I am surprised that the Element doesn't have a white, gold, or red color. I'm sure they would get a lot of buyers with more color options.
Nav-E-Gator 06-04-2004, 05:40 PM on my vote here, but I just found this thread (so many to look at!)
My vote was for yellow, but I'd also like to see purple. The other color I've always thought would really suit this already crazy vehicle is that bright Daytona Green color - know the one I mean? Brighter than grass, but not quite florescent? Seems to me like this vehicle is just BEGGING for some brighter colors! :D
On the other hand, since so many people use this for camping/biking type stuff maybe a nice metallic brown or olive drab color with black plastic would work out very nicely for them?! :)
GYPSYTDA 06-05-2004, 11:57 AM [quote:2ea062c261=" "]am i the only one that thinks purple is a cool color... yea, my house is painted purple...[/quote:2ea062c261]my Integra is the really dark plum.. looks black from some angles..
a house i was looking at buying had purple trim, looked real neat.. so you are not alone!
davidsky 06-27-2004, 02:29 PM Yellow might be a problem for the manufacturers. All of the other companies that had yellow for their small SUVs no longer make them in that color. Mazda does sell the Tribute in a nice looking teal and the Chevy Equinox is in red.
StLouisPenguin 06-27-2004, 02:37 PM I wanted a white car....my last car was white.....just something about a white car that I really like.....but the E wasn't available in white, so then I was thinking silver....but there was just something about the silver that I just didn't go ga-ga over.....so then it became EBP or GGM.....it was a VERY tough decision, but I ended up with Blue.
But let me just say this....if Red had been available I would have bought it in a heartbeat.....SOP is a cool color, but a true red would have sold me.
pagefan 07-22-2004, 11:09 PM yellow yellow yellow yellow
with black racing stripes
just kidding
popeye 10-30-2004, 09:20 PM interesting read from yesterday's new york times:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/29/automobiles/29YELL.html?oref=login&8dcp
(the hot color for cool cars? yellow!)
popeye 10-30-2004, 09:30 PM ...and what ever happened to gold metallic?
(i remember mercedes-benz 450 SEL in gold metaillic being considered the height of arrogance and bliss in the late seventies in europe, whereas the gold camaro with removable glass roof a friend of mine had in germany was considered seriously cool -in the late eighties...the golden lexus suv's and sedan's you sometimes see nowadays is just flatout dull and kinda stupid, IMO)
