This is great look. I saw it somewhere before but couldn't find the link anymore so I whipped up my own in photoshop.. if i get the GGM, Id think i would want to do this to it.

unfortunately your photo shop rendering doesn't do it justice. i will have real world pics of mine up by next week. the key is getting bigger tires to go with the wheels. otherwise it still looks too skimpy!
meantime here's the photo you were looking for of mark's E in colorado i believe, which inspired me to also go this route as well.

WOW.. badass. is the wheel painted the same shade as the car? It loks sweet. So you've done the same thing eh? does it look just as well?

How much did the DX wheels run you? and how much was the power coating? did they just read the paint from your car or did you have to figure out the paint code from Honda?

DX wheels are on eBay and for sale around here from time to time and pretty available for a decent price. with powder coating the paint code is irrelevant. they need a paint chip and they attempt to match it. they can get pretty close but you have to pay them to make a custom batch of powder for you because usually the stock powder colors don't match anything other than a generic paint color. 5 pounds of custom powder coast me $130 and then i paid $60 a wheel for the whole powder coating process including clear coat to give them the same depth of shine as the paint. So it was $370 plus the cost of the wheels (plus tires). AND 20 DX LUG NUTS (which are different from EX lug nuts)!! they list for $5.03 each at the dealer and you need 20 of them (thankfully pacific honda sells EOC members parts at cost plus 20% but i still paid $3.60 each for them)!

By chance has anyone seen EX wheels painted GGM?..........Im thinking of a different look...possibly painting the rims body colour or grey to match the body cladding.
