Just picked it up this morning :D Clyde seems to like it, but Trudy isn't so sure yet. A few trips to the drive thru and she will love it, I think! The dealership we bought it at has a greyhound on staff, so how could we go wrong?

Thanks for the welcome! We have been waiting for our E since April, and are thrilled to finally have it. Our other car is a VW Beetle TDI, and we got rid of a Saab to get the E. The Element is quite different than what I'm used to, but different is OK

Greyhauler,
I just checked out your website and loved the pictures. However, it's a good thing that you have pictures because, speaking from experience, you won't have that interior looking that clean and new for very long. I only have one greyhound and my interior is covered in hair and sand. I can't imagine what two greyhounds are going to do! Then again, my boy is white and I've heard that some people think that the white ones shed more than the others. Don't know if that's true or not, maybe it's just more noticeable because of the color. Of course, maybe if I cleaned my interior every now and then, it wouldn't be as bad. I think after 13 months and 20,000 miles, it's probably due for a good vaccuuming and hosing out! (Just kidding about the hosing out part! We all know about that now, don't we?) B.T.W., before I get accused of totally neglecting my Element  , I do wash the outside on a semi regular basis, just haven't gotten around to the interior yet. Maybe this weekend.

Rixellie, I'm not too concerned about the fur and dirt. At least there's no carpet for it to get ground into. I believe that the white hounds do shed more, but Trudy, the brindle, also sheds a lot. (I'm sure the folks with actual furry shedding dogs think this is hilarious :P )
We took the seats out last night and took the hounds for a ride. They both settled down right away, so that made me happy. They did not like the slick plastic on the tailgate, though. So I think they will just be hopping in and out through the side doors.
