Honda Recalls More Than 150,000 Vehicles in U.S.
...
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said potentially incorrect inflation rates in the driver's side front air bag prompted Honda to recall 130,617 compact CR-V sport utility vehicles from the 2002-2004 model years.

Wonder if that will be expanded to hit Elements as well?

I'm guessing Element will be included once the popular models have been taken care of.
Elements are probably at the bottom of priority list since they don't sell as many.

Here're two unfettered versions from Yahoo news:

Hmm. If it was going to I would have expected it in the same announcement. Notice how they "clumped" two unrelated recalls in the same press release... it's a sort of spin control - making two recalls sound like one.
Not a definitive "no", but I'll bet they already checked to see if we had the same mistake.

Sorta. It actually requires registration, not membership. That is, there's no cost.
And if you live outside of the DC area zip codes, you get a significantly shorter registration form.

Spin control? Those are not Hondas words in the last part of that release I assure you as Im looking at the info Honda sent to each dealer over the comm network.
Heat buildup in the instrument panel is not the problem, AHM has stated that it's a transistor inside of the Multiplex unit that over time, may fail.
Honda has notified dealers of 4 saftey related recalls just between 06/04/04 and 06/08/04
The factories are also now activily investigating the element windshield cracks.

When it comes to recalls vehicle popularity does not come in to play.Registered owners are notified by mail as counter measure parts become available.I wouldnt be concerned about the E being effect. If affected would have been more than likely annonced at the same time as the CRV.The bags in the Crv and E cary different part numbers.Whay has yet to be seen tho is if canadian vehicles are affected.
