I am thinking that Patrick would not be good for the Economy...perhaps I will write in Mr Crabs...(Free Crabby Pattys for all the poor-that would be a great forum to run on!)

I wish every one cared about voting.

I was 18 in 1972 when the 18 yr old got the right to vote. I voted then and every chance I've had to vote in my life. I try to learn about candidates and issues.

You see, I like to bitch when govt does not please me. If you don't vote, you have no right to bitch.

You are right. I was 16 when I started working and paying taxes. That SHOULD allow a person to vote, taxes. By paying taxes and not being allowed to vote, I was taxed without representation, which our constitution goes against. I just hope people are made aware of the taxed people denied the right to vote, because of age. Now, if you get someone that is over voting age, they can vote, whether they pay taxes or not.

Thank God there's someone else on this board that remember the 1970's. I frequently feel like I'm the only one over 40 reading these posts!

Turned 18 in April, and I'm proud to be voting for the first time. Actually I voted in the Presidential Primary- but November will be my first big election.
I'm trying to get my older brother (23 and never voted) to vote too and get informed... but he still says he "can't promise anything." :?

I plan on voting in every election as it's an incredible right I have!

I'm afraid this one has me searching for the "None of the above" box.

Still undecided. Don't care for any of them, really. Lesser of two evils...whoever that may be.
